Knew Concepts is not required to, and does not, collect sales or use tax for many states. Under some state laws, purchases are not tax-exempt merely because they were made over the internet or because a seller is not required to collect the tax. These states require purchasers to review untaxed purchases and, if any tax is owed, the seller should file a state sales/use tax return or report use tax on their state annual return and pay any tax due.
