5" Mk.IV Heavy Duty Fret Saw with Lever Tension and Swivel Blade Clamps

Designed to pull 50–60 pounds of tension on their blades, which makes it much stronger, and the blades vibrate less than our Mk3 saws. They are also thicker and slightly heavier, closer to the weight of a traditional saw, but still lighter. The saw is powder-coated red and is extremely scratch and damage resistant.

The Cam Lever Tension is designed for rapid, repetitive blade changes (when piercing for example). The tension does not change when re-setting the blade. Simply flip the lever forward to release tension, re-position and clamp the blade, and flip the lever to the rear, and you are sawing.

The Swivel Blade Clamps can rotate the saw blade a full 360°, with click stops every 45°.

 We now offer custom laser engraving on all our saws.  We are working on an online system to allow you to lay out your custom design personally, but for now, contact us directly before placing an order, and we'll do it by hand.  

There are two possibilities: 1) use a standard Mk. IV frame, which has a small area above the handle side clamp on both sides that is engravable.  There's enough room for a name, or a school ID tag there.  That can be done for $10.  There are also custom frames that have the first two windows above the handle blanked out to give lots of room for a larger inscription, or graphics.  That adds $20 total.  Either version can be done on one or both sides, and the two sides can be different.
