A pair of the knuckles that go on the rear of our bench pins, or any other dovetail system tools. These are required to allow your custom made tool mount onto one of our dovetails. Also compatible with GRS's Benchmate dovetail.
They are threaded 10-32, and need 10-32 screws to mount them onto your project or part. (Not included.)
These knuckles are available for those who want to make their own accessories to fit onto a dovetail system mount. They're already included with all of our tools that need them, so you don't need to order the knuckles as a separate item unless you're making something on your own.
To get your item to sit with its upper edge in line with the top of the dovetails, the mounting holes must be 3.650" apart, and 0.625" down from the upper edge of your part.
The distance between the holes is absolutely critical. A difference of 0.001" will cause the lock-up height of the final tool to move up or down by 0.010". (10-to-1 difference.) The holes should be 0.2" in diameter, but that's not as critical. (#7 drill)
