A quick, easy way to cut jump ring coils, right on your bench pin where you need it. This part screws on to the curved anchor slots at the front of our stainless steel bench pins. It's bright red, so you don't accidentally walk into it.
To use it, thread the jump ring coil onto your saw, then place the coil in the groove on the attachment. Then just cut through the bottom front of the coil, and work your way back. With larger coils, it's helpful to wrap them in masking tape while they're still tight on the mandrel. Slide the whole thing off the mandrel, and the tape will keep it from wiggling around while you cut.
